My custom built (9/2009) PC began about 6 months ago freezing after
playing any video. Finally tired of this glitch, so took it to the
original builder who replaced a noisy fan, and assured me he solved the
software glitch. Not!
Taking a big chance I called blind (didn't now them at all) Eugene
Computer Geeks. Spoke W/Cameron who made a house call. Now when has
anyone made a house call? 1952??
He spent hours attempting to fix- computer wouldn't any load any
scanning software. Wiped C drive and reloaded XP in all its
permutations several times. Figured that something corrupted in
motherboard, maybe. Seemed that only solution was to start anew with a
new desktop.
Cameron found a relatively inexpensive Gateway system with all the
goodies I needed. He accompanied me to Best BB to assure I get what I
needed. He then at his place loaded all my saved and necessary data,
and w/i 3 hours of my purchase I was ready to go.
What service, what consideration Cameron provided- rare in my 73 years
have I been ever accorded this level and depth of service. Astonishing!
