my acer aspire 4315-2963 wont allow me to restore to factory settings. f10+alt nor ctrl+f10 work. my computer goes in an odd cycle also.
acer screen. black screen with options page… safe mode normal start etc, then to the windows loading page if you click normal start up. then switches back to the acer screen and the process begins again

So its also not letting you access safe mode when you click on it? What about ‘Last Known Good Configuration”? If you can’t get into any of the modes then a factory restore is your only option left.
Since its not letting you access the Acer erecovery fatory restore, you have 5 options:
1. Buy a factory restore disc from Acer. Discs average around $40 (could be less or more though), and they snail mail it to you. You’d then stick the disc in, and access the boot menu. (Usually F12, ESC, or F9), or you can access the BIOS and change the boot order to have CD as first on the list. You’ll then boot to the disc and be able to do the factory restore.
2. Buy Windows 7 Disc- Discs cost around $100, and you’d get a brand new serial. After you boot to the disc and install Windows 7 you’ll have to install all the drivers off the Acer website.
3. Borrow a Windows disc and use your serial- Ask your friends if they have a windows 7 disc. In order to use your serial, it has to be the same edition that you currently installed. For example if your computer came with Windows 7 Home Premium, you will need a Windows 7 Home Premium disc in order to use your serial.
4. Download a copy of Win 7- (NOT recommended and will violate microsoft’s terms of service.) and use your serial. You have to ensure the disc you download is an original Windows disc and not modified or cracked in anyway. Some users will also download a fully pirated copy of Windows, but this is not recommended because it’s easy to get a copy that is infected with viruses/malware, its illegal, and its likely when a security update comes out you’ll get a “non genuine” error. We do not recommend violating microsoft terms of service in anyway.
5. Switch to Linux- Linux is a free operating system and an excellent alternative to Windows. Personally I don’t use Windows at all, and all of my PC’s have Linux installed. If you switch to Linux, you wont ever have to worry about viruses, malware, spyware, or adware. It’s also very fast, stable, and secure. Linux has excellent out-of-box hardware support and gets no “blue screens of death” For beginners I recommend “Linux mint” http://www.linuxmint.com or Xubuntu http://www.xubuntu.com

Can you test your xbox on another wifi network? IF it does the same thing on another wifi network, you might need to get a new wifi adapter for your xbox
